According to Dr. Lipman, if what is sought is a radiant and flawless epidermis there are a series of products that we must avoid.
The skin is the largest organ of the body and a poor choice of what we eat can cause inflammation or even cause some problems and imperfections to the epidermis. In this sense, Dr. Lipman lists seven foods to eliminate from our diet so as not to harm the health of our skin.
1.COW'S MILK
All dairy products from this animal contain a large amount of its hormones, which can lead to hormonal acne in humans. Therefore, if your skin is prone to acne, it is best to opt for products that do not contain lactose.
2. PROCESSED CARBOHYDRATES
White bread, sugary cereals, pasta, baked goods and any type of sugary food or drink belong to this type of food. And it is that processed carbohydrates cause inflammation in the skin also promoting the appearance of acne.
3. GREEN JUICES
Most green juices contain about 50 grams of sugar and often lack the natural fibers found in fruits. This results in an increase in insulin and, therefore, more acne.
4. SODA
This type of soda especially disturbs the necessary and healthy bacteria found in the intestine that fight against dermatological problems such as rosacea, eczema or acne.
5. SOUP OF ENVELOPE
The packaged soup contains large amounts of sodium and bisphenol that make the skin retain water causing hormonal problems, swelling and dry skin.
6. CANNED TUNA
Canned tuna lacks the nutrients found in wild fish. In addition, its high content of mercury could lead to toxicity in the epidermis.
7. COFFEE
Caffeine is a diuretic that causes the body to lose water and dehydrate the skin. An alternative to coffee is water with lemon, rich in antioxidants and which also reduces the risk of inflammation.
Glucose is a sugar that comes from the foods we eat, and it's also formed and stored inside the body. It's the main source of energy for the cells of our body, and is carried to each cell through the bloodstream. Our brains depend on glucose to function, even when we're sleeping.
